Year of the Rabbit
I don't know what has gotten into me but all of a sudden, I started googling my Chinese birth year and here's what I found:
Full of grace, timid at heart, ready to give her affection and her heart, not wanting to say a harsh word; that is the Rabbit. She is always smiling, willing to help you with any task or any problem at anytime. With her around, there is calmness and peace, for she will do anything to avoid an argument, and she will never begin one. She hates unpleasantness, quarrels, bickering, and confrontations of any sort. She will adjust to any situation, never confront anyone, and dislikes drastic changes. She is happy with her routine and content with whatever comes her way.
Do not be harsh with her; she is a very gentle creature. If someone as much as says a harsh word, she may come down with a psychosomatic illness-she is so sensitive to what others say or do. She's a real softie: tell her a sad tale, and her eyes well up with tears. She would make a good nurse or caregiver. She is easily taken advantage of. She loves her home for the security and is never disloyal. If you value tradition and tranquility, the Rabbit is the one for you. Peace and quiet, comfort, and kindness are what you will get from her.
She makes a most considerate partner, at work or in romance. She is a happy sort and everybody likes her. She looks after her family with pride and prefers to call friends home for a meal rather than go out to a restaurant. She is the ideal match for a Goat or a Pig.
Not all of it may be true but I was surprised that some of it really describes me. I grew up believing that I was born in the Year of the Dragon since I was born in 1988. But the Chinese new year fell after my birthday so, I was really born under the year of the Rabbit.
But what made me kilig, is the ideal match for my birth year. Hahaha. I know I shouldn't believe in this but c'mon, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll smile if she knows her crush's birth year is an ideal match with hers, right? ♥ Charot.
