5 minute work: Paper Plane

This short letter I wrote
Folded to a paper plane
Hoping one day it will reach you
and you'll understand.
But this little paper plane
I had long kept with me
Remained unsent
til now we're no longer free.

Muntinlupa City: A Fraction of a Second Tour

I always wanted to have my own travel blog. But before you get excited, let me tell you first that this is a comic attempt to create my own travel post. Since I had spoiled the surprise and you already know what to expect, this so-called-trip happened 4 years ago. But still, since the place is still existing and I wanted to revive the "experience" I had, let me give you a quick glimpse on what to see in my hometown, Muntinlupa City! :)

First stop, introducing the Jamboree Lake. It was said to be the smallest lake in the Philippines. Well, I must be proud to frequently pass this natural wonder, but I actually didn't even believe that it's a lake! Lol.

Since there's nothing much to see, let's proceed to the very famous National Bilibid Prison, where all the notorious convicts are detained. But before we get there, we will first pass by the Sunken Garden: Muntinlupa Version =) According to some kwentong barbero, it's called Sunken Garden because of the fault line. It may be true or not, it's up to you to decide or to google it. Haha!

"must get inside!"
The Cow
FYI: the cow hates trespassers.

Along the way, you will also find remnants of WWII like this canyon which we believed was used by the Japanese soldiers.

And they had a very good way of preserving it, huh?
Included on this very valuable historic treasure are the pioneer bloggers and their stone-aged way of blogging (literally).

Alas! After a couple of minutes of walking, we arrived at the famous National Bilibid Prison, where as I said earlier, notorious criminals are detained. Some can actually roam around if they maintained a good record during their stay, but don't fret, they're "harmless". ;)

It was a very cloudy day but even though it's sunny, you can only see the same view.

But if you want to have a tour inside, you may try to do something really bad and make sure you get caught and you can tour the prison for free!!! You'll definitely experience the real deal, exclusively just for you. :)

I really hope I shared some very informative facts about my hometown. Pay a visit and definitely, you won't regret it. ;)

Cigarette Stick

The smoke I'm taking in from your cigarette stick,
Deadly,
so risky,
a hidden sweet.
I take it all
Who cares what I breathe?

I rot on your presence while you puff on your cigarette stick.
Without mercy, without notice
of
killing a hopeful withering flower.
While you are living in joy and blowing all the pain,
I slowly rest on my grave,
inhaling the smoke from your cigarette stick.
